Alumasc Rainwater – Proud Of Olympic Achievement

Posted by david.luukas

Alumasc Alumasc has recently completed one of the most extensive rainwater projects in its history.

More than 8,000m of Alumasc rainwater pipeline (with special outlets) was fitted to the Athletes’ Village at Olympic Park in London.

It was engineered to suit all of the buildings in the village bar one, whilst several were also installed with Skyline.

The rainwater systems were colour co-ordinated in a range of BBA-approved powder coatings, to complement the design of each individual apartment block.

Throughout the two-year project, Alumasc worked closely with the client, contractors, installer and merchants to meet the rigorous delivery schedule and stringent security procedures.

The company continues to be a market leader in the manufacture and supply of Cast Iron and Aluminium Rainwater products with our installations being found on other prestigious projects such as The Imperial War Museum and Marylebone Train Station.
