Satisfying demand for rainwater harvesting systems | Alumasc Building techniques and designs continue to evolve alongside changes in technology and consumer and business trends. Recently, you might have noticed a rising interest in rainwater harvesting systems.

This is no surprise. After all, the need to capture, store, filter and reuse rainwater is becoming more and more important. Water firms are raising their prices and climatic changes, as well as the growing population, are placing more demands on mains water.

Also, businesses and consumers are becoming more concerned by environmental issues and many are voting with their wallets, investing in green building solutions.

We can help

To help you meet rising interest in these eco-friendly rainwater systems you can come here to us at Alumasc. We’re experts when it comes to these products and should have exactly what you’re looking for.

Knowing you have a reliable supplier at the ready might boost your peace of mind considerably. After all, the quality of these systems can have a significant impact on how people appraise the building projects you are involved in.

Total confidence

When you invest in our rainwater pipes and solutions, you can be certain that they will be of the highest quality. We are the UK’s leading supplier of BBA certified aluminium rainwater systems.

Also, we offer a complete range of gutters, downpipes and integrated fascias, among other things. Whether you’re after a system that suits a contemporary setting or more traditional architecture, we are on hand to help. We can even make bespoke designs to match or replace existing installations.

Commercial

Our commercial system is non-pressurised. Rain is channelled from the roof into the storage tank, passing an integrated filter on the way. This removes large debris such as leaves. The liquid enters the tank via an inlet calmer, preventing disturbance to fine sediment in the base.

Excess water exits via an overflow that has a one-way valve and rodent protection. Meanwhile, inside the tank there are sensors and a submersible pump that takes water on demand from the cleanest part of the tank through a floatation suction filter. This supplies the break tank, which in turn gravity supplies water to the point of use.

Domestic

Meanwhile, our domestic rainwater harvesting system is equally impressive. Quick and easy to install, maintain and use, it is the most efficient and cost effective solution on the market. Also, thanks to our experienced team of domestic rainwater harvesting professionals, you can benefit from complete customer care and peace of mind.

With this system, it’s possible to reduce domestic water consumption by up to 50 per cent. Meanwhile, during periods of heavy usage, if the tank should run empty, the system will automatically switch to the mains supply.
